Toni leaves Juventus

Juventus have confirmed striker Luca Toni has left the Serie A club after agreeing a deal with UAE Pro-League side Al Nasr.

Toni, 34, parts company with Juventus just 12 months after joining the Old Lady on a free transfer from Genoa in January 2011.

The Italian scored two goals in 15 matches for Juve, but has yet to make a league appearance this season, sparking interest from Al Nasr.

A Juve statement read: Luca Toni's career will continue in the United Arab Emirates. Juventus has reached an agreement with Al Nasr to transfer the striker permanently."

Toni has played for a host of clubs during his career, including Palermo, Fiorentina and Bayern Munich, where he won the Bundesliga in 2008.
