Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has ruled out a potential move for Giovani Dos Santos, claiming that the wantaway Tottenham forward is too expensive.
Dos Santos, 22, has played just 14 games for Spurs in four seasons and is desperate to leave White Hart Lane in search of first-team football.
Villarreal and Granada are both believed to have lodged bids for the Mexico international, who played on loan at Racing Santander last season, while Bolton are keen to offer him a chance to stay in the Premier League.
However, Sevilla will not be among the clubs attempting to prise Dos Santos from Spurs, as the 2006 and 2007 UEFA Cup winners were put off by his price tag when they showed an interest last summer.
"(Tottenham wanted) an exorbitant amount for him,'' Sevilla chief Del Nido was quoted as saying on AS.com. "In the end they were asking for €6.5 million.''
