Lille president Michel Seydoux says there is a "98% chance" of Brest striker Nolan Roux joining the club, a move that suggests Moussa Sow's departure may be imminent.
Sow has been heavily linked with Fenerbahce in recent weeks and while the player himself has stated that he favours a move to the Premier League, it is thought he would be willing to join the Turkish giants in a deal expected to be worth at least €10 million.
Should that transfer go through, Lille will need to replace the Senegal international, who was the top scorer in Ligue 1 season, and the club have identified Roux as the man to fill his boots.
The Brest forward scored 15 goals to help his club to promotion from Ligue 2 last season and is believed to be available for €8 million, with LOSC set to offer him a four-and-a-half year contract.
"There is a 98% chance that Nolan Roux will join us this season," Seydoux said.
Sow is currently in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea on African Nations Cup duty with Senegal.
