Molina to lead Villarreal
Villarreal have announced that Jose Francisco Molina will take charge of the team until the end of the season.
Former Yellow Submarine player Molina, who has been in charge of the Villarreal B team, takes over following the dismissal of Juan Carlos Garrido on Wednesday night.
A club statement read: "Coaching Villarreal B until today, Jose Francisco Molina will now manage Villarreal CF's first team for the rest of this season.
"The Yellow Submarine will once again give the chance of leading the team to a man from this house, a former player and someone who knows the club perfectly well, currently serving his third season as a member of the coaching staff."
Molina, a goalkeeper with the Spanish national team, played for Villarreal on loan in the 1993-94 season. Villarreal C coach Julio Velazquez will replace Molina as boss of the B team.
