Stoke defender Geoff Cameron will not have to serve a three-match ban after winning his appeal against the red card he received against West Brom on Saturday.
The United States international was dismissed by referee Lee Mason after he pushed Claudio Yacob in the back of the neck in response to the Argentine's challenge.
The FA withdrew Cameron's suspension in a statement on Monday.
It said: "An Independent Regulatory Commission found that the match referee had made an obvious error in dismissing the Stoke City player for violent conduct during the game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday."
The decision makes Cameron eligible to play in Stoke's Capital One Cup semifinal first leg against Liverpool on Tuesday.
Cameron's dismissal, which came shortly after Jonathan Walters had equalised for Stoke, contributed to Stoke losing the game 2-1 as Jonny Evans scored West Brom's winner in stoppage time against the Potters' 10 men.
In announcing his attention to appeal, Stoke boss Mark Hughes said after the game that he believed Yacob had deliberately sought to ensure Cameron was shown a red card.
Stoke announced their appeal on Monday, and the FA took only a matter of hours to rule in their favour.
