Ibrahimovic sends Ronaldo birthday gift

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has sent Cristiano Ronaldo a cheeky birthday present, prompting an equally impudent response from the Portugal international.

Ronaldo celebrated his 29th birthday on Wednesday, and the occasion was marked by his Real Madrid side beating Atletico Madrid 3-0 in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal.

During the match, Paris Saint-Germain striker Ibrahimovic tweeted with a picture of a 'Dare to Zlatan' T-shirt and some of the Swede's own exclusive wrapping paper accompanied by the message, "Happy birthday @Cristiano. I have sent your new favourite outfit in the post."

Ronaldo, who outshone Ibrahimovic when their respective countries met in November's World Cup playoff, once again had the last word, replying via his own Twitter account after his match: "Thank you for the birthday present @Ibra_official. It will look better on me than you though."
