Neymar can't choose between Real Madrid's BBC and Barcelona's MSN

Barcelona forward Neymar says Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo demand respect, but he stopped short of calling the Real Madrid trio the best forward line in the world.

The "BBC," as they are called, led the Bernabeu side to UEFA Champions League glory last May, the club's record 11th triumph in the competition, and are widely regarded as one of the sport's two best attacking trios.

However Neymar, whose "MSN" partnership with teammates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez rivals the Real forwards, told CNN he was unable to choose which group is better.

"They are star footballers who are respected," Neymar said on Thursday.

"Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Ballon d'Or four times and Bale is having a great season. Benzema is a great striker who I think is a superstar.

"It is a good battle, a healthy battle which we have in the Clasico.

"I wouldn't say which the best trio was because I don't like to. I never like to say that I am better than anybody else, but this trio [Barcelona's MSN] has made history and will continue to do so."

Asked if he could choose one Real Madrid player to join Barcelona, Neymar indicated a familiar face.

"I would pick Marcelo," he said of his fellow Brazilian.

"Why? Because he is my friend!

"Not even Cristiano? No, I would pick Marcelo."
