With Real Madrid's top three attackers out of the lineup, Sergio Ramos delivered a stoppage-time goal to complete a late comeback for a 3-2 win over Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga on Saturday.
The result set Real Madrid's club record of 35 games unbeaten in all competitions, though the run looked to be in jeopardy until Mariano Diaz's 84th-minute equaliser.
Madrid were playing without any of their front-line stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzama for the first time in the league since May 2014, and had to wait until the second half to take the lead from Alvaro Morata's long-distance strike.
Depor hit back with two goals from Joselu in as many minutes. The striker, on loan from Stoke City, matched Morato's long blast on 63 minutes, then controlled a cross from Florin Andone and shot past Keylor Navas.
But Mariano scored his first league goal to bring Real level in the 84th minute, and Ramos, who a week earlier scored a stoppage-time equaliser against Barcelona, headed in following a corner kick in the 92nd to seal the three points.

And Barcelona put the icing on the cake in injury time when Messi jinked superbly away from three defenders before dinking a finish into the corner -- his 17th strike in nine appearances against Osasuna.
Real Sociedad climbed to fourth with a 3-2 victory over battling Valencia at Estadio Anoeta.
Willian Jose set them on the way with two first-half headers, but Dani Parejo's penalty gave Los Che hope.
Carlos Vela's second-half penalty was kept out by spot-kick saver extraordinaire Diego Alves before the Mexican laid on a late third for Juanmi, although there was still time for the visitors to set up a nervy finish with Zakaria Bakkali's goal.
The defeat means Cesare Prandelli's side have now gone seven league matches without a win, and remain in deep trouble.
Leganes came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Las Palmas at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
Marko Livaja slid in ahead of Leganes goalkeeper Iago Herrerin to convert Michel Macedo's low cross after the ball was whipped across the six-yard to put the home side ahead on 21 minutes.
However, Leganes recovered and earned a share of the points when Miguel Guerrero converted a second-half penalty after being fouled by David Garcia.
