Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane: I could coach Juventus some day

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has said he could coach Juventus one day and praised star midfielder Paul Pogba.

Zidane took charge of Madrid in January and enjoyed a superb end to the season, winning their final 12 La Liga games to finish a point behind champions Barcelona and then securing the Champions League with a penalty shootout victory over Atletico Madrid.

The former France international, who also won the 2002 Champions League with Real as a player, said be open to returning to Juve as a coach later in his career.

"I've always had a very special feeling and you can never say never -- I could come back to Turin to as coach," Zidane said on a visit to the Italian city to open a new five-a-side football pitch. "I would also like to be France coach, so we'll have to see."

Zidane also had warm words for Juve star Pogba, without wanting to fuel speculation linking Madrid with a move for the French midfielder.

Club president Florentino Perez praised Pogba this week but suggested they have enough midfield options, and Zidane said: "[Paul's] a great player.

"He's a player who could play for any club so it's only normal that all the big clubs want him, but he's a Juve player and we've got to respect that."

He added: "Juve have come a long way in these years and they can win everything and do well in the Champions League. But I'm coach of Real so I'd much prefer it if we win [the Champions League]."
