Barcelona: No Dani Alves offers

Barcelona have not received any offers for Dani Alves and are happy with their current squad, according to sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.

Brazil right-back Alves has been regularly linked with a move away from the Camp Nou this summer, and said last month he would allow the club to determine whether he stayed.

However, Zubizarreta told reporters during the presentation of new signing Thomas Vermaelen: "Alves is under contract, and we've never asked him to leave.

"When he reported back he had a normal conversation with the coach, just like you always do on your return. We don't have any indications from his agent to suggest that anything is going to happen, and we haven't received any offers for him."

Barca have been strongly linked with a move for Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado -- who had been touted as a potential replacement for Alves -- as well as Ajax's Daley Blind.

Zubizarreta said, however, that the club may not make any further signings this summer, having already brought in Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Claudio Bravo, Jeremy Mathieu and Vermaelen.

"We are happy with the players we have -- but if an opportunity arises, we'll take it," he said. "If nothing else comes up, we're satisfied with the squad."

Barca saw Carles Puyol retire and Victor Valdes leave on a free transfer in the summer, but Zubizarreta said he was confident they had "assembled a top-class backline" with their recent additions.
