Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says that France international Antoine Griezmann could give his side plenty more options up front.
The 23-year-old forward is set to join the Rojiblancos after a 30 million euro deal was reportedly agreed with Real Sociedad and, speaking ahead of Sunday's match against MLS side San José Earthquakes, Simeone said: "He's a very good player. He is very quick and can give us a lot of options in attack."
However, with Griezmann yet to finalise personal terms with Atletico, Simeone warned that you can't believe everything you read until the deal is complete.
"It's also true that a lot of other players have been talked about as possibly coming [to Atletico], and we could make two teams out of all of them," he added.
Griezmann has been with Sociedad since 2005 as a youth player and impressed for France in their run to quarterfinals of the World Cup this summer.
