Sergio Ramos was out of Real Madrid's Wednesday La Liga lineup at Sevilla after
after the Spanish government’s Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte (TAD) denied a suspended sentence appeal that would have delayed Ramos' suspension.

Ramos was sent off for a professional foul during Madrid’s 4-3 defeat to Barcelona last Sunday, and then subsequently -- along with teammate Cristiano Ronaldo -- accused referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco of having been biased against his side.
On Tuesday, La Liga’s disciplinary committee turned down Madrid’s appeal against the red card, and handed Ramos the customary one-game ban, even though he travelled with his teammates to the Andalusian capital ahead of the game in the hope of being able to play.
Wednesday's La Liga’s appeals committee had earlier also turned down Madrid’s attempt to overturn the one game suspension.
Tuesday's disciplinary committee verdict had backed Undiano Mallenco’s decision that Ramos had fouled Neymar when the Barca attacker was clear through on goal, saying in a statement: “The evidence shows an opponent with a clear chance to score was impeded.”
Madrid was contending that Ramos did not touch Neymar and do not believe it was a clear goalscoring opportunity as Marcelo was also present, AS reported.
