Real star Jese escapes house fire

Real Madrid's Jese Rodriguez had to be rescued by firemen as a fire in his luxury apartment building led to three people being hospitalised on Monday night.

Rigg: Madrid rants better served on the pitch

AS reported that the fire started in the car park of the building, where the three people were working. The three were all taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, with one also having serious burns.

Jese, who is currently on crutches following a knee operation in Germany last week, was unhurt but had to be helped from his house by the local fire services. He was taken in by teammate Alvaro Arbeloa, who lives nearby.

Other Madrid figures including Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, Gareth Bale and Zinedine Zidane also live in the luxury La Finca development located in Madrid’s plush Pozuelo de Alarcon suburb, but there is no suggestion their properties or cars were damaged.
