Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang eyeing La Liga transfer before Premier League

Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said he sees La Liga as his next destination after the Bundesliga, rather than the Premier League.

Aubameyang, 26, has been linked with Barcelona in recent weeks, having enjoyed an outstanding start to this season.

He has scored 20 goals in 17 matches in all competitions, 13 of which coming in 10 Bundesliga games, making him the joint-top scorer in Germany alongside Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski.

"One day I'll leave to play in another league," he said to BBC World Service, but added that, for now, he is "100 percent committed" to Dortmund.

"After that contract I have this dream to play in Spain. I hope that will happen but when? I don't know.

"Lots of people think that the Premier League would good for me but my mum is Spanish and I really have that dream to play over there.

"After that maybe one day the Premier League but for the moment I aim to one day play in Spain."

This summer, Aubameyang signed a new contract at Dortmund, tying him to Dortmund until 2020.
