Roberto Soldado has completed his move to Villarreal, signing a three-year deal after his new club agreed a transfer fee with Tottenham on Friday.
Villarreal will pay Spurs a reported £10 million for the striker, who joined Spurs in 2013 in for a club-record £26m.
The Spanish club confirmed Soldado will be presented on Monday.

He will help fill a void left by Mexico forward Giovani Dos Santos, who left Villarreal for the LA Galaxy earlier this summer.
"The striker has always proved to have a natural 'killer instinct' for scoring," Villarreal said in a statement. "Strong and skilful, he's an excellent header. Roberto Soldado is called to be the attacking reference of Marcelino's team. A deluxe reinforcement for the Yellow Submarine."
Soldado only scored seven times in 52 league games and just once last season, never quite reaching the heights he scaled during his time with Valencia, and now he's set to leave north London to return to his homeland.

Soldado, who started his career at Real Madrid, earned his reputation as one of the best strikers in La Liga at Getafe then Valencia, for whom he scored 81 times in 141 appearances.
That convinced Tottenham to bid a club-record fee to bring him to England, though Soldado did not have the same impact in the Premier League.
Soldado thanked Spurs in a message on Twitter, saying, "These two years have been difficult for me, but I wouldn't change this experience for nothing in the world. I am sorry for not being able to meet the expectations that Tottenham had put on me."

On Thursday, Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino found it difficult to explain why it did not work for the 30-year-old in England.
"I don't know," he said. "Football is not mathematics. Sometimes there are a lot of reasons that are difficult to explain. I think it wasn't easy for him to adapt his game in England at Tottenham."
Aside from star Harry Kane, Tottenham are left thin at the top with Emmanuel Adebayor and winger Aaron Lennon also on their way out, though sources have said Spurs are reportedly close to a deal for Lyon's Clinton N'Jie.
The Spain international scored once in 24 league appearances last season and will now hope to rebuild his reputation in his home country.
"We have reached agreement with La Liga side Villarreal for the transfer of Roberto Soldado," said Spurs in a short statement. "We wish Roberto all the best for the future."
Villarreal finished sixth in La Liga last season and, like Tottenham, will compete in the Europa League this season.
