TOP STORY: Bayern interested in Camavinga
France Football reports that Bayern Munich are hoping to sign 18-year-old midfielder Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes in the next few weeks.
Bayern's recruitment team, which is led by Marco Neppe and Laurent Busser, has Camavinga at the top of a transfer list which also includes 24-year-old Florian Neuhaus from Borussia Monchengladbach.
However, while Neuhaus is rumoured to be available for a fee of up to €45 million, Camavinga could wind up being better value even though it may require €60m to sign him.
Bayern do have a regular duo in midfield consisting of Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka -- the latter of which is reported to be close to signing a contract extension that would see him stay at the club until 2026. However, Bayern feel they never replaced Thiago Alcantara after he left for Liverpool last year and so Camavinga fills their need as a defensive midfielder.
Bayern believe the club's playing style, and the league itself, wouund and RB Lld suit Camavinga, and they would guarantee him playing time, the report adds.
Camavinga would become the 10th French player to join Bayern alongside such players as Dayot Upamecano and Kingsley Coman.

21.57 BST: With Jose Mourinho having been sacked on Monday, Tottenham will be looking for a new manager come the summer.
The Daily Mirror lists ex-Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri and RB Leipzig up-and-comer Julian Nagelsmann as the favourites to land the job on the Spurs bench. Sarri has been out of coaching since leaving Juventus last season, while Nagelsmann, who has coached Leipzig since 2019, has been linked with the soon-to-be-vacant Bayern Munich job.
21.21 BST: Aston Villa failed to land Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica ahead of this season, but Football Insider suggests they will be returning for the Kosovo international in the summer.
Werder Bremen are set to cash in on the 24-year-old as he enters the final year of his contract. The winger who factored in on 18 and 19 goals in his first two seasons with Werder Bremen, has struggled this season but is still a player reportedly of interest to Villa.
Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are two other clubs tracking the winger.
20.42 BST: David Alaba sounds as if he will be Real Madrid bound.
Sky's Max Bielefeld is reporting that the Austria international is set to sign a five-year contract with Los Blancos in the coming weeks. The versatile 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and had been linked with Madrid and Clasico rivals Barcelona.

Alaba has played his entire senior career with Bayern -- outside of a short loan spell at Hoffenheim -- making 426 appearances and winning nine Bundesliga titles, six DFP-Pokals, and two Champions League crowns.
19.55 BST: Roma are expected to bring in a striker this summer to replace Edin Dzeko, and the latest name being linked is Zenit St. Petersburg's Sardar Azmoun.
Calciomercato claims that "Iranian Messi" is an option for Roma, with the forward valued at around €25 million. The 26-year-old has 16 goals in 22 games this season for Zenit, and has also been rumoured with Serie A's Atalanta.
19.03 BST: Newcastle are one of the clubs exploring a move for Benfica left-back Nuno Tavares, writes Record.
Newcastle, as well as Burnley and Napoli, are monitoring the highly-rated 21-year-old. Tavares, who has made just 37 career first-team appearances for Benfica, has an €88 million release clause, but reports indicate that Benfica would consider selling Tavares for €30m.
18.19 BST: AC Milan, Leicester and Southampton have all been credited with interest in Bologna midfielder Mattias Svanberg, by Calciomercato.
The Sweden international, 22, has had an impressive season in Serie A this year with five goals.
17.31 BST: With Bayern Munich centre-back Niklas Sule about to enter the final year of his deal, there is increased speculation that Chelsea could move for the German defender.
The Athletic's David Ornstein writes that the 25-year-old is high atop Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel's wish list, with the Blues expected to upgrade the centre-back position in the summer. Sule, who joined Bayern in 2017 from Hoffenheim for a reported €25 million, would cost the Blues somewhere in the neighborhood of £30 million.
16.54 BST: Inter Miami have some serious questions to answer over the signing of Blaise Matuidi.
16.00 BST: PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi has said he believes star striker Kylian Mbappe will not leave the club this summer.
Mbappe, 22, is out of contract in the summer of 2022 and the Ligue 1 side are working on an extension. Real Madrid and Liverpool have been linked with the France international, but Al Khelaifi told El Chiringuito: "Kylian Mbappe will stay at Paris Saint-Germain, for sure".

14.15 BST: Football Insider claims that Arsenal want to sign Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan on a permanent deal once his loan expires.
Ryan, 29, has mainly played as backup to first-choice Bernd Leno but has made two Premier League starts, including in last weekend's 1-1 draw against Fulham where he helped Eddie Nketiah nab a late equaliser with a flick on from a corner in the final minute.
The Australia international has a contract which expires in 2022 and his transfer could cost around £5m.
13.31 BST: Jose Mourinho could be back in club football quicker than we thoughts as reports in Spain suggest Valencia are keen to hire after he was sacked by Tottenham.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Valencia owner Peter Lim is set to let Javi Gracia go with the club 14th in La Liga,
And Lim has already had "call between him and [Mourinho's agent] Jorge Mendes" to talk about hiring the former Porto, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter and Man United boss.

12.07 BST: Braga defender David Carmo almost joined Liverpool in January, according to the club's president Antonio Salvador.
Liverpool eventually signed Ozan Kabak on loan from Schalke and Ben Davies from Championship side Preston North End to cover for injuries to Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez. But the 21-year-old Carmo was on their list as well.
"We have kept it as long as possible, but every year we have to sell," he told Marca. "In January, for example, David Carmo had a foot and a half at Liverpool, but we ended up retaining him.
"He is a player who, despite being injured at the moment, continues to have several suitors, even in Spain... To have a balanced budget, we have to receive between €12.5m and €15m a year in transfers.
"This is an established point if we are to continue at the same level that we have been at for the last decade. This year we will have to do more to resist the damage caused by the pandemic."
Manchester United and Manchester City have also been linked with Carmo in recent months.
11.46 BST: Clubs signed up to the new European Super League (ESL), including Manchester United and Manchester City, are fielding calls from players and agents worried about the implications of the bombshell plans, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.
A number of top players under contract at the six Premier League clubs signed up to the new venture -- United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal -- have raised concerns about UEFA's threat to ban them from playing for their countries at international tournaments.
There has been a suggestion that suspension could come into force as early as the European Championship this summer.
Sources have told ESPN that representatives who have managed to contact United in the 48 hours since the Super League announcement on Sunday night, have been told the club are confident players cannot be banned from international competition.
11.15 BST: Tottenham Hotspur's decision to sack manager Jose Mourinho just days before their League Cup final against Manchester City is "crazy," former England skipper Wayne Rooney said.
Rooney, who played under Mourinho when the Portuguese was in charge at Manchester United, said Spurs should have waited until after Sunday's final to pull the plug on the 58-year-old's tenure.
Spurs have endured a dismal run of form this season and fans are disgruntled by the team's style of play under the former Porto, Chelsea, Internazionale and Real Madrid boss, who replaced Mauricio Pochettino in late 2019.
"I think it's crazy doing it before a Cup final," Derby County manager Rooney told reporters. "It's strange timing anyway. Surely they could have waited until after the Cup final if that's the direction they wanted to go in. "Mourinho is a manager who loves winning trophies, that's quite clear to see. He's won a lot of trophies throughout his career ... I'm sure [Spurs chairman] Daniel Levy could have waited until the day after the game.
"If there was one manager to set up a team to play against City in a Cup final it's Mourinho. Tottenham haven't had the best of seasons, so from that point of view it's crazy and a massive risk."

09.44 BST: Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has ruled out Cristiano Ronaldo's return to the club.
Recent reports in Spain claimed that Ronaldo could leave Juventus this summer despite having one year left on his contract to play again for Real Madrid. Asked if Ronaldo would return to Real Madrid this summer, Perez said: "No. He has contract with Juventus. It makes no sense. I love him very much and he has given us so much but it makes no sense that he returns."
Ronaldo, 36, left Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 to join Juve in a €100m transfer. He is Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer and has scored 32 goals in 37 appearances for Juventus in all competitions this season.
Perez, meanwhile, insisted Brazilian striker Vinicius Jr. is going nowhere. Asked about the possibility that Vinicius, who scored twice against Liverpool in the Champions League quarterfinal tie, could be included in the deal to bring PSG's Kylian Mbappe the the Bernabeu stadium, Perez said: "No. Vinicius is not for sale, he can't be touched."
09.24 BST: Barcelona have offered Sergio Aguero a two-year contract, according to TyC Sports.
The Manchester City forward becomes a free agent on July 1 and has been in talks with Barcelona with a view to join them this summer.
Aguero, 32, is eager to return to La Liga 10 years after leaving Atletico Madrid to sign for City.
The Argentina international is also a target of Juventus. Juventus are prepared to offer him a better wage package than Barca but the idea of playing alongside compatriot Lionel Messi at Barca is very tempting for Aguero.
Messi is also a free agent this summer and has yet to sign a new deal with Barca. The question remains will Messi renew his contract before Aguero's deal is completed or will Barca use Aguero's signing as a motivation for Messi to remain at the club beyond this summer. Aguero is expected to make a decision regarding his future club in the coming days.
08.30 BST: Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has said he tells the club's fans who ask him to sign Kylian Mbappe to "stay calm" -- and revealed he's "working on" major signings this summer, while admitting that the club's post-pandemic finances make the situation difficult.
"The truth is [Mbappe] is a really good player," Perez told TV talk show El Chiringuito during a 90-minute appearance on Monday night. "I haven't spoken to him... at least today! That was a joke. I haven't spoken to him for years."
Madrid have been linked with a move for Mbappe this summer, with the 22-year-old superstar forward yet to renew his contract at Paris Saint-Germain with a year left to go.
"Every now and then Real Madrid need a change, we've won a lot, you have to make things happen and bring excitement, and I'm working on it," Perez -- who was re-elected unopposed as Real Madrid president earlier this month -- said. "I'll do everything possible so that Madrid don't lose the place where they belong, and Madridistas know it. But the truth is we should be bringing in €900m (in income this season) and it's €600m."

- Football Insider believes Liverpool are considering a move for Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins. The Reds are looking to freshen an attack that has misfired at times this season, and are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old, who scored in both games against Liverpool for Villa this season. Watkins has so far scored 12 goals in 30 games in his first Premier League campaign.
- Paris Saint-Germain are the most likely suitors for Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, explains Sport. The Spanish right-back is likely to leave this summer despite having two years left on his contract.
- Steve Bruce is keen to make Joe Willock's loan move to Newcastle United a permanent one, according to The Sun. Willock came off the bench on Saturday to score a late winning goal against West Ham United to boost Newcastle's chances of beating relegation. Willock also scored in a recent 2-2 draw with Tottenham. Bruce wants to negotiate a deal to keep the 21-year-old midfielder at St James' Park beyond the summer, but feels Arsenal will also want to keep him.
- Ainsley Maitland-Niles has impressed during his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, and the Mirror reports that he's being targeted by a number of clubs from England and around Europe. Midfielder Maitland-Niles has two years left on his Arsenal contract, but Crystal Palace are the latest club to express an interest. Leeds United and Monaco are also said to be keen on the 23-year-old full-back/midfielder.
- Santos starlet Angelo, 16, is drawing interest from a number of European clubs, according to Calciomercato, and he could be available for less than his €100m release clause. The young forward has been watched by a number of top clubs, and the Brazilian giants are said to be interested in letting him go to appease their own financial worries. He could be available for around €60m-€70m.
