Inter Milan general manager Beppe Marotta has confirmed that Ivan Perisic has asked to leave the club this month, but added that a suitable offer for the Arsenal target has not been received. The Gunners, who can only sign players on loan due to their financial situation, are reported to want Croatia winger Perisic on a temporary deal with an option to buy for £35m in the summer, but Marotta said a transfer would only happen if Inter's demands are met. "We've listened to the player, who has expressed his desire to leave, but we need to make sure it makes sense from an economic point of view and no such offer has yet arrived," he told Sky Sport Italia. "But there are a few days left." Marotta added that he did not expect Perisic to cause any problems if a move failed to happen as the club work on reaching an agreement over a transfer. "When a player expresses the way he feels, in a correct manner, you've got to show understanding and accommodate him, but there are financial aspects that need to be respected," he added. "If he stays, it will be the job of the club -- first and foremost the coach -- to ensure the player delivers for the rest of the season." Perisic was only on the bench for Inter's Serie A clash with Torino on Sunday.
