Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen unclear over future at club - agent

The agent of Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen says his client is still unclear on his future at the north London club.

Janssen, 24, was unable to secure a move away from Tottenham in the summer after suffering a foot injury and has fallen out of favour with manager Mauricio Pochettino following his £17 million move from AZ Alkmaar back in 2016.

The Netherlands international spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce and was not registered for the Premier League by Tottenham for the 2018-19 campaign having scored two goals in 28 Premier League games for the club.

And his agent Laros has told ESPN that he is still in the dark regarding his future.

"We don't know what will happen. His focus is first to get 100 percent fit and then we will see what happens," Louis Laros told ESPN. "There's not much more to do right now, he wants to be fit and play but we will see."

ESPN sources close to Fenerbahce have confirmed that the Turkish side are not interested in re-signing Janssen on loan in January. The Istanbul giants are in 17th place in the Super Lig and are unlikely to secure European football next season.

Tottenham are reportedly looking for a new striker this summer to play as backup to Harry Kane. Current second-choice Fernando Llorente has six months left on his contract and is not playing regularly, while Janssen's contract expires in June 2020.
