Juanfran: Atletico Madrid unfazed by Antoine Griezmann to Barcelona talk

Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran has said he is not worried by speculation that Antoine Griezmann could join Barcelona as a replacement for Neymar.

On Wednesday, Barcelona confirmed that Neymar will miss training because he intends to leave, with a huge move to Paris Saint-Germain drawing closer.

Griezmann signed a new contract with Atleti earlier this summer, and both Marca and Sport reported that it contains a €200m release clause that applies until Sep. 1 next year before dropping to €100m.

Mundo Deportivo said that meant Barca would be more interested in signing Griezmann next summer, but recent reports claim they have identified him as their main target if PSG meet Neymar's €222m release clause.

AS said Instagram and Twitter messages posted by Griezmann on Tuesday showed he was weighing up his next move.

But Juanfran told reporters: "The market is going a bit crazy, and any [transfer] operation can have knock-on effects.

"Players are worth whatever a team is willing to pay. We cannot say who is worth more or less, the market dictates that.

"But we are not concerned as Griezmann is happy at Atleti and we want him to give everything for Atleti."
