Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not ruling out a move to Napoli but says he is happy at Manchester United.
Ibrahimovic, 35, joined United on a one-year contract in the summer with an option for a second year, but that has yet to be triggered and the striker's agent, Mino Raiola, has made several references to his client's love for Naples over the last year.
LA Galaxy have also been linked, with a source telling ESPN FC they have made a contract offer that would make him the best-paid player in MLS history.
Ibrahimovic, speaking to his former Juventus coach Fabio Capello for Italy's Fox Sports, suggested he could be tempted be a move to Napoli but said he is not seeking an exit from Old Trafford.
"You never know, but I'm happy here," he said in an interview to be aired on Friday evening. "Let's just wait and see what happens."
The former Sweden international emphasised the importance of being happy when discussing his two years at AC Milan, where he won the Serie A title in 2010-11.
He had joined Milan, initially on loan, after a difficult 2009-10 season at Barcelona but moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2012, winning four Ligue 1 titles with the French giants.
"My family was very happy in Milan," he said. "I spoke with [Milan general manager Adriano] Galliani and [president Silvio] Berlusconi and they had convinced me to join them with great desire and motivation.
"We had a great side. When we won the title, I remember Galliani coming into the dressing room with an Inter shirt in his hands and he ripped off the badge for the titleholders and told us: 'This is yours now.'
"I didn't want to leave Milan. When you're happy, you're just happy. I just wanted to be playing and I still had in my mind what had happened at Barcelona, where I hadn't been comfortable."
Ibrahimovic joined Juventus from Ajax in 2004 and he thanked Capello for helping to launch his career at the Italian club by giving him a video of Milan and Netherlands legend Marco van Basten.
"When you told me to come to see you in your office, I thought I had done something wrong," Ibrahimovic told Capello. "Then you gave me that video of Marco van Basten. My impression at Juventus was great right from the start, above all working for Capello.
"I remember the first thing you told me was: 'Forget about the Ajax style and you will become a great player.' We used to train a lot, particularly in front of goal."
Ibrahimovic scored 23 goals in two seasons with Juve, winning his first Serie A title in Turin before moving to Inter in 2006.
At Inter, he went on to win three more Scudettos, ending their long wait for a league title with an inspired substitute performance against Parma on the final day of the 2006-07 season.
"I remember that day -- it was throwing it down with rain and before I scored, I tried another shot which went wide, then it went in the second time," he said. "Inter had not won the league for 17 years and I told myself: 'If I join Inter and win, then I am going to go down in this club's history.'
"I had a bad knee that last day of the season in Parma, but I still came on and decided the title with two goals."
