Juventus striker Simone Zaza to end West Ham loan next month - agent

Simone Zaza's agent has said the Italy striker will end his West Ham loan and return to Juventus this winter.

Zaza, 25, joined West Ham on loan in the summer but has failed to score in his 10 appearances for the club in the Premier League and EFL Cup.

Sources told ESPN FC last month that West Ham were seeking to end the loan agreement, which would have obliged the Premier League side to make the deal permanent for €20 million had he made 14 appearances, and agent Vincenzo Morabito has now confirmed the player will return to Turin.

"Zaza will definitely go back to Juve, because West Ham do not want to keep him," he told Juvenews. "He could well stay in Turin, given that Juventus might need another striker. If not, there are plenty of other options."

Morabito ruled out a move to Lazio as Zaza's wages are too high for the Rome club and added: "I repeat, he will certainly return to Juve."

La Liga side Valencia recently expressed an interest in signing the former Sassuolo striker, with sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch telling Superdeporte: "Basically the biggest challenge is that the salary that he has at West Ham is absolutely exorbitant, but that could be negotiated.

"I don't know what the coach thinks about this, but if we could reduce his wages, he is a player that we can evaluate."
