Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley says he will decide his future at the end of the season amid reports linking him to a return to Serie A.
Bradley previously played in Italy with Chievo and Roma from 2011-2014 before joining Toronto, and last week Sports Illustrated reported that Bologna and AC Milan had interest in signing the 29-year-old this winter.
Bradley says he's focused on helping Toronto in the MLS playoffs and the U.S. preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Mexico in November, but he left the door open for a possible move despite having multiple years left on his contract.
"That's football -- there's always things flying around," Bradley said of the report. "November is obviously on everybody's mind. And then there will be time as always at the end of the season to figure out to sit down and talk -- what went well, what didn't -- and find the right way forward.
"You guys try to make different comparisons and moments, and obviously in a lot of ways we just concentrate on what's in front of us."
Toronto FC have clinched a postseason berth for the second straight season and are in strong position to host a playoff game for the first time.
The Canadian club has dropped to third place following the injury to star playmaker Sebastian Giovinco, but Bradley said the team is still in good enough form to make an impact in the playoffs.
"Honestly, when you look closer at the last few games, I actually think we've had some of our best moments of the whole season," he said.
"I think the way that we were able to dominate large, large stretches of these home games I think gives us real optimism. Again, on the flip side of that, we've not taken out of it what we should have."
