Burnley's Michael Keane is not for sale, amid reported interest - Sean Dyche

Burnley boss Sean Dyche expects interest in Michael Keane to continue but insists the defender is not for sale.

Keane, 23, has been linked with Leicester City and Chelsea having been a key figure this campaign and in last season's promotion push. After scoring in Monday's 2-0 win over Watford, the centre-half declared himself happy at the club in line with his manager's stance.

"We've made it clear he's not for sale, among others who are not for sale, and he's still at the club so that's ongoing," Dyche said. "There's a balance. It's a kind of respect in a way, that people recognise some of our players are doing well but there's also that little bit where you think 'we're not actively selling players.'

"We don't want to lose players. Situations can become unsettled but Keano's been really clear-minded throughout the summer."

Sunday, the day after Arsene Wenger celebrates his 20th anniversary as Gunners manager, brings Arsenal to Turf Moor.

Dyche, who is coming up on his fourth year in charge of Burnley, reveres the Frenchman's longevity.

"Arsene, for me, is one of the top managers without a shadow of a doubt," he said. "Certainly through the Premier League years he's alongside Sir Alex [Ferguson] and people like that. A lot of respect goes out from me, as a young manager, looking at him and what he's done... the way he puts a team together, the style, the manner.

"As managers we all understand the fan mentality, the thirst and desire to win and be successful but from a manager's point of view you have to scratch your head and wonder why he's questioned at times.

"I understand Arsenal are a big football club and their fans want actual success, actual trophies and the recognition that brings but for me he is one of the top managers without a doubt."
