West Brom sign Wales striker Hal Robson-Kanu on two-year deal

West Brom have announced the signing of Wales striker Hal Robson-Kanu on a two-year contract.

Robson-Kanu, 27, was a free agent after leaving Reading at the end of last season.

The striker had a successful campaign with Wales at Euro 2016, helping his team to reach the semifinals and scoring one of the goals of the tournament along the way.

Speaking to the club's official website, manager Tony Pulis said: "Everybody enjoyed watching Hal's contribution to the Welsh performances at the Euros and we're pleased to have him on board."

Robson-Kanu left the Wales team camp to travel to Albion for a medical and is set for an immediate return as Chris Coleman's team prepare for their opening 2018 World Cup qualifier against Moldova on Monday, Sept. 5.

Robson-Kanu said: "It was an important decision for me and my family and we took our time.

"But it's a fantastic club and manager and I'm really happy to be here.

"I'm particularly pleased to be back in the Premier League. I am grateful for everything that Reading have done for me and I enjoyed my time there.

"But it's great to take this step."
