West Ham United's Enner Valencia targeted by Swansea City - sources

Swansea City are considering a move for West Ham United striker Enner Valencia, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.

Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin is still looking to bring in another attacking player to add to his options before the close of the transfer window and he has been alerted to Valencia's potential availability.

Guidolin is concerned Swansea do not have enough goals in the current side after they sold last season's top scorer Andre Ayew to West Ham.

West Ham are open to sending Valencia out on loan as he is down the pecking order in Slaven Bilic's plans once everyone is fit .

The Hammers could also use any possible exit for Valencia to bring in a possible new face of their own before Wednesday's transfer deadline.

Valencia joined West Ham from Mexican side Pachuca in 2014 and after initially impressing for the Hammers upon his arrival he has struggled for form and fitness in the last 12 months.
