Tottenham's Son Heung-Min has 'heard nothing' about Wolfsburg move

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son Heung-Min has said he is in the dark over a possible move to Wolfsburg and added that speculation surrounding his future at White Hart Lane is "not a good sign."

Reports in recent days suggest Wolfsburg have identified Son as a key target as they attempt to bolster their attacking options following Bas Dost's move to Sporting, confirmed on Sunday.

Son joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen for around £18 million last summer but failed to establish himself as a regular ahead of Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela and Dele Alli.

The London club's signing of striker Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar this summer to compete with and cover for Harry Kane raised further doubts about Son's future at White Hart Lane.

But speaking ahead of South Korea's World Cup qualifying clash with China in Seoul on Thursday, the 24-year-old said: "I haven't heard anything about my transfer.

"I don't want to think about things happening outside the stadium. I just want to focus on playing football. It's not a good sign that transfer rumours are coming out, but I think it's meaningful that those in Germany acknowledge me."

Tottenham have already had one "ridiculous" bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha rejected as they pursue a deal ahead of Wednesday's transfer deadline, while Nacer Chadli is expected to join West Bromwich Albion for £13m.
