Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is relaxed about speculation linking Joe Hart with a move to Anfield.
Hart is out of favour at Manchester City under new manager Pep Guardiola and has been linked with a move to Liverpool, but Mignolet is confident he has the ability to continue as the club's No 1.
"There is no point looking over my shoulder, I have to look in the mirror and look at myself," he told Sky Sports. "If I keep performing then there is nothing to worry about.
"I think speculation is part of being at a big club like Liverpool. I think every day another player gets linked and that's not going to change, so I'm used to that.
"I just keep my head down and work hard. Competition for places is good. You need that throughout the team because you're going to have suspensions and injuries and everybody needs to be able to step up when needed."
