Christian Pulisic subject of £11 million offer from Liverpool - reports

Liverpool have offered Borussia Dortmund £11 million for United States international Christian Pulisic, according to multiple reports.

Pulisic, 17, became the youngest player to score twice in the Bundesliga last season, but Dortmund have made a number of new signings this summer that could limit the American's playing time this season.

Earlier this week, German newspaper Bild reported that Stoke City had bid €20m (£17.1m) for Pulisic, with German clubs Leipzig and Stuttgart also reportedly linked to a move.

Transfer speculation began after Dortmund signed four attackers in Mario Gotze, Ousmane Dembele, Emre Mor and Andre Schurrle this summer.

Pulisic was left out of Dortmund's squad for the German Super Cup last week, but his father told Bild at the time that he did not want to leave the team with an additional two seasons left on his contract.

"Christian has no interest in leaving the club," Mark Pulisic said. "He had a good half year last season, and wants to continue to break through."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was in charge at Dortmund when Pulisic signed there in January 2015, and The Express reported that he still highly values the forward.

Last week, kicker reported that Dortmund do not want to send Pulisic on loan, leaving his suitors to hope for a permanent move.

Pulisic, a Pennsylvania native, made his U.S. senior team debut in March and came on as a substitute in three games during this summer's Copa America.

He would be able to move throughout Europe even though he does not turn 18 until next month because he holds a Croatian passport.
