Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho paid tribute to Andreas Pereira after sending the midfielder to Granada on a season-long loan.
Pereira, 20, scored in Mourinho's first game in charge, a 2-0 preseason win over Wigan Athletic, and made 13 appearances for the club under former manager Louis van Gaal.
Mourinho said: "I love Andreas Pereira as a player and I would love to have him in my squad, but he will go to Granada."

Pereira becomes the fifth United player to be sent out on loan under Mourinho this summer, following Adnan Januzaj, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, James Wilson and Guillermo Varela.
At Granada, Pereira will line up alongside Barcelona's Sergi Sampa, Jon Toral of Arsenal and Chelsea duo Jeremie Boga and Victorien Angban.
