Christian Pulisic has no intention of moving from Dortmund - father

Christian Pulisic has no plans to leave Borussia Dortmund after failing to make the squad for the German Super Cup, his father has said.

Pulisic, 17, was linked with a move by Sport1, who claimed the United States international was unhappy about failing to feature in the 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich on Sunday

However, his father told Bild that any reports linking him with 2.Bundesliga club Stuttgart or any other side this summer are wide of the mark.

"Christian has no interest in leaving the club," Mark Pulisic said. "He had a good half year last season, and wants to continue to break through."

Speaking to Bundesliga.de during the official media day on Wednesday, the midfielder said that he hopes to win his first title with Dortmund this season.

Pulisic said his goal is "to have a great season," adding: "Obviously I want to play as much as I can and we want to win the league if we can."

A report in kicker on Thursday also confirmed that Dortmund don't want to send Pulisic on loan despite an abundance of attacking midfield players in their squad.

Pulisic made a total of 12 appearances for the first team in last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists. He has two years remaining on his contract at the club.
