Middlesbrough have confirmed the signing of United States goalkeeper Brad Guzan from Aston Villa.
Guzan, 31, has signed a two-year contract with newly promoted Middlesbrough following Villa's relegation to the Championship.
Boro have also brought in former Barcelona and Manchester United keeper Victor Valdes this summer, while last season's No. 1 Dimitrios Konstantopoulos still remains on the books at the Riverside Stadium.

Sources told ESPN FC earlier this month that Boro had targeted Guzan to prove cover and competition for Valdes as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
Guzan had joined Villa from Chivas USA in 2008 and made a total of 171 appearances for the club in all competitions.
