Marseille sign Anderlecht's Aaron Leya Iseka on season-long loan

Marseille have signed Aaron Leya Iseka, the younger brother of their departed striker Michy Batshuayi, on loan from Anderlecht.

Belgium international Batshuayi left for Chelsea earlier this month for a reported £33 million.

And his 18-year-old sibling, known by their mother's surname, has made the temporary switch to help fill the void.

"I chose Marseille because it is a big club and I want to discover new things," Leya Iseka told the club's official website. "It's a dream. I want to make the most of it.

"The supporters are extraordinary, I am desperate to get started at the Stade Velodrome and score some goals.

"I want to bring something extra to the group, to work at 2,000 percent, and to bring the smiles back to the supporters as quickly as possible."

Batshuayi wrote on Twitter: "Welcome to the most beautiful club in France little brother. Make the most of the Vel [Stade Velodrome], it is a family.''

And Leya Iseka said: "I spoke about it with him very briefly and my brother advised me to come here."

L'OM have also been linked with strikers Bafetimbi Gomis and Clinton Njie of Swansea and Tottenham respectively.
