James Rodriguez looks to have ended speculation about his future by insisting he is staying at Real Madrid despite receiving a €85 million (£71m) offer for his services.
Rodriguez struggled to tie down a starting berth at Madrid towards the end of last season and has been linked with a big-money move away from the Bernabeu, with Manchester United reportedly among his suitors.
The Colombia international says Madrid have received a £71m offer for him, but is adamant his future is with the European champions.
He told Marca: "I'm going to fight to earn a place in Madrid. That's my dream.
"I'm going to stay with Real Madrid, I'm going to triumph here. I know the club have had an offer of €85 million for me, but I'm not leaving."
The 25-year-old joined Madrid for a reported £63m from Monaco on July 22, 2014, signing a six-year contract.
On Tuesday, James trained at Envigado, the club where he started his career, and the side's coach Ismael Rescalvo told Marca: "He has told me that he wants to return and earn his spot back."
