Antonio Nocerino to join Orlando City, says AC Milan CEO Antonio Galliani

Midfielder Antonio Nocerino is set to join Orlando City in Major League Soccer, AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani said.

Nocerino has been heavily linked to a move to MLS this winter, and Galliani said the 30-year-old has found a new club in Florida, where he will reunited with former Milan teammate Kaka.

"Tomorrow we will terminate our rapport with Nocerino, who will go to play in Orlando," Galliani told Mediaset.

"With that move, our transfer activity will be finished for this session."

D.C. United own Nocerino's MLS discovery rights because they first expressed an interest in bringing the player to the U.S., but the Washington Post reported earlier this week that the clubs were working on a trade that would allow Nocerino to join Orlando.

Galliani also said Milan striker Luiz Adriano wouldn't leave the club for a move to China.

"Football has changed so much, until a few years ago nobody went to China or the United States. The sport is becoming more globalised," Galliani said.

"We are doing well with our young players. With Nocerino leaving, we will add [Manuel] Locatelli to the senior squad from tomorrow.

"[Leonel] Vangioni will arrive from River Plate in July, as he had his medical this week with permission from River and from July 1 he will be a free agent.

"Emanuel Mammana? A very good player, but I won't talk about him because his contract with River is not due to expire.

"For the same reason I won't talk about Franco Vazquez, otherwise [Palermo president Maurizio] Zamparini will tell me off."
