LONDON -- Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Serge Gnabry will end his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion and said he may be sent out to a different club.
Gnabry, 20, has struggled at West Brom this season after failing to impress boss Tony Pulis, who frequently left the German out of his matchday squad altogether.
Championship side Brighton have previously expressed interest in taking Gnabry on loan, and Wenger said the winger may find another club before the January transfer window closes on Monday.
"I am tempted to let him go somewhere [on loan], to do with him what I did with [Francis] Coquelin -- to go somewhere for a month or two and then come back," Wenger said after his side's 2-1 FA Cup victory over Burnley.
Coquelin joined Charlton on a month-long loan last season before being recalled by Wenger to help provide injury cover, and has since become an established starter in defensive midfield for Arsenal.
Gnabry broke into the Arsenal first team in the 2013-14 season with a number of impressive displays as an 18-year-old but missed most of the following campaign with injuries.
France right-back Mathieu Debuchy is also expected to leave on loan before Monday, but Wenger said no deal has been completed yet.
