Chelsea's Christian Atsu set for Spain in second loan deal of season - sources

Chelsea winger Christian Atsu has flown to Spain for talks with three clubs interested in signing him on loan, sources have told ESPN FC.

Atsu, 24, has just recently returned to Chelsea after the club cut short his season-long loan deal at Premier League rivals Bournemouth.

Chelsea are ready to send Atsu out on loan again for the second half of the season so that he can get some regular first-team football.

A number of clubs across Europe have expressed an interest in Atsu and sources have told ESPN FC that Levante, Malaga and Rayo Vallecano have agreed deals with Chelsea for a loan.

The Ghana international has been given the green light to travel to Spain to hold talks with the interested trio and decide which club he would prefer to go to for the rest of the campaign.

Atsu, who joined Chelsea in 2013 from Vitesse Arnhem and spent last season on loan at Everton, has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blues but hopes his latest loan move will boost his chances of making the breakthrough at Stamford Bridge next season.
