Juventus forward Simone Zaza 'untransferable' - Massimiliano Allegri

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has said Simone Zaza will not be going anywhere this month, adding that he would like to play him more in the second half of the season.

Zaza has been linked with West Ham, Crystal Palace and Wolfsburg after he raised doubts over his future in Turin in December.

According to reports in Germany, Wolfsburg had been confident of striking a deal for the 24-year-old attacker, but Allegri ruled out a move.

"Zaza is staying -- he's untransferable," the coach said at a news conference ahead of the Coppa Italia quarterfinal match against Lazio.

"Zaza deserves to play more. Our forwards are all good enough."

Those forwards include Alvaro Morata, who has scored just one Serie A goal so far this season, and Allegri said: "He can -- and he has got to -- do more.

"But he must not make an obsession out of it. He's got a lot of quality, and he's not lost any of that. It's only going to take something small to get him back to his best."

Allegri said he was likely to freshen up his team for the cup clash in view of Sunday's Serie A match against Roma.

"I've got great faith in my side and will send out the best team in view of keeping the intensity high," he said.

"[Paul] Pogba has played every game since the start of the season, so I don't see what the problem is if he misses one. [Kwadwo] Asamoah did an excellent job as his replacement and he is fully available.

"If Hernanes plays, [Claudio] Marchisio doesn't. As for the defence, I'll have another look after training. I wouldn't say I'm rotating as such -- I have a very balanced squad."
