Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang committed to Dortmund, eyes trophies

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reiterated he will not leave Borussia Dortmund in the immediate future as he wants to win titles with the Bundesliga club.

Aubameyang, 26, received the African Player of the Year award during a ceremony in Nigeria last Thursday, and later that day told ESPN FC that he will not leave Dortmund during the winter transfer period amid links with Arsenal.

"Let me say this first: I am not going to Arsenal," he said after last week's ceremony. "Dortmund is my club and I am not leaving soon."

Speaking to Sport Bild during Dortmund's winter training camp in Dubai, Aubameyang, who has scored 18 Bundesliga goals in 17 games, reiterated that he will stay at the Westfalenstadion.

"In football, nothing is written in stone. But my contract runs through to 2020. That's a fact," he said. "I feel just great here, and want to achieve a lot of things with BVB and win titles. That's a fact, too. That's why I made this statement. I am here, and nowhere else.

"I am not at Arsenal, not at Barcelona and not on the moon, you can see that."

The Gabon international did not give too much away when asked whether he had received offers during the winter, but said: "When you score a lot of Bundesliga goals at such a big club there will always be rumours and enquires, but I don't busy myself with that."
