Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Ilkay Gundogan keep options open amid BVB exit talk

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Ilkay Gundogan have both said they are happy at Borussia Dortmund but are keeping an open mind amid speculation they could leave.

Both players have been linked with Juventus, and Mkhitaryan's agent, Mino Raiola, recently said the Italian champions have a "50 percent chance" of signing the Armenia international.

The 26-year-old remains Dortmund's record signing after joining from Shakhtar Donetsk for €27.5 million in 2013, but his contract is due to expire in 2017.

Asked about his future by German football magazine kicker, Mkhitaryan said is "fully focused" on Dortmund for now, adding: "I am happy here. We'll see what happens one day."

Referring to Raiola's suggestion he could move on, he said: "I don't talk to him about what he thinks, but rather the important things. Right now, I am in Dortmund, and I am really happy."

He had been linked with Juve last season, when both he and Dortmund had been struggling, and he said: "You know, I have been linked with Juve time and time again for a year now, but I am still at Dortmund."

Mkhitaryan has been in excellent form this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 19 assists across competitions since Thomas Tuchel's arrival in the summer.

Borussia's sporting director, Michael Zorc, has already said that the club want to tie the attacking midfielder down to a new contract.

The Armenian said: "There will be talks should Dortmund want to prolong. We are open to it."

Germany international Gundogan is another player under contract at the Westfalenstadion until 2017 and he too has been linked with Juve.

The midfielder, who only last summer prolonged his contract by one year, said he has not made up his mind on his next move.

"No decision has been made, and everything has to be carefully considered, because a career does not last forever," he told Bild. "But to be honest, everything's open. I know what I have at the club, and I will include that in my considerations."

The 25-year-old has also been linked with a transfer to Juventus, as well as into Premier League, but it has been reported for some time that he would prefer a switch to Barcelona in the summer.

Juve general manager Beppe Marotta recently said Dortmund are unwilling to sell Gundogan.
