Montreal Impact striker Didier Drogba says he has yet to decide his future, despite a report in French paper L'Equipe claiming he will return to Chelsea.
Drogba, 37, is under contract with the Impact until December 2016 but L'Equipe claimed he had reportedly opted to end it early and head back to Stamford Bridge to be a part of Guus Hiddink's backroom staff.
According to L'Equipe, Canadian sources have revealed that Drogba phoned Impact president Joey Saputo and Hiddink personally to inform them of his decision. But the player tweeted that he had not yet made up his mind.

Earlier, Montreal Impact Communications Director Patrick Vallee told ESPN FC that Drogba had yet to inform the club of his decision
"[Drogba] never called Joey [Saputo] to tell him, 'I'm going to announce my retirement.' The first sentence of that [L'Equipe] article, which is the most important, is not true," he said. "Maybe Drogba is going to retire. That's an option for him. But right now, if he's doing it, he never said it to our president. He never announced it to Joey first."
MLS sources have also told ESPN FC that they have yet to be informed of Drogba's reported retirement either.
Chelsea have been keen to add Drogba to their staff as the 14th-placed Premier League champions look to turn around a disappointing season which has seen them lose nine of 20 games in defending their crown.
The striker sat alongside interim manager Hiddink and club owner Roman Abramovich during the 3-1 victory over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge on Dec. 19, though Hiddink later said it would be down to Chelsea officials to determine whether the Ivorian could join his coaching staff.
Earlier this week, Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said Drogba -- who won four Premier Leagues, four FA Cups and the Champions League during his two spells at the club -- would be a "great addition" to the club.
"I had a very good relationship with him last year. He was great for the dressing room and our team," Courtois said. "If he comes back as a coach it will be a great addition to all the team."
