Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain want Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne - agent

Lorenzo Insigne is being pursued by both Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, according to his agent, but appears set to stay with Napoli for now as they chase a first Serie A title since 1990.

Insigne's agent, Antonio Ottaiano, said the Italy winger is drawing interest from both clubs after scoring seven goals and adding five assists in 17 league games so far this season.

Ottaiano told Naples-based Radio Kiss Kiss: "PSG and Arsenal are clubs at the top of the world and their interest is certainly gratifying, but right now Lorenzo is only thinking about Napoli.

"A great season is also key to reaching his other aim for this year: securing a place for the next European Championship with Italy."

The Napoli native is enjoying his best season yet with his hometown club, forming a formidable partnership with Gonzalo Higuain that has helped make Napoli a title contender. Napoli are third in the table, just a point behind leaders Inter Milan.

Ottaiano added: "Lorenzo's dream is to win wearing a Napoli shirt and this year it looks like there are all the requirements to try and bring home something important. I don't see why Napoli wouldn't continue to perform in the same way in the second half of the season."

The 24-year-old can play on both wings or through the middle and his mix of pace and technique means he can both take on defenders and score from distance.

Insigne has been linked with Arsenal repeatedly in the past, and Ottaiano made similar comments back in June 2014, when he said the forward was "honoured" by Arsene Wenger's reported interest.

Wenger has said Arsenal will have a "busy" January transfer window in the wake of a slew of injuries, with Alexis Sanchez and long-term absentee Danny Welbeck both sidelined as the Gunners enter 2016 top of the Premier League table.
