Lavezzi joined PSG from Napoli for around €30 million in 2012 and he is now in the fourth and final year of his contract.

Lavezzi is interested in a two-year, €5 million contract, according to the report, which added that the proposed negotiaton is pending approval from Barcelona coach Luis Enrique, who is still studying his options at forward. Barcelona's transfer bans ends in January.

The former San Lorenzo player said last month that he is prepared to leave PSG.

"I think it will be my last year in Paris," he said. "But I'm relaxed and I want to finish in the best way possible."
