Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler is set to undergo a medical at Leicester City on Monday after flying into England to finalise his move, sources have told ESPN FC.
Leicester have been in talks with Inler, 31, in recent weeks as they look to bring the Switzerland international to the Premier League and they are on the verge of a transfer.
Claudio Ranieri's side have made a 100 percent start to the new Premier League season and Inler's arrival will come as another welcome boost at the club.
A number of teams, including West Ham United, Schalke and Besiktas, have been chasing Inler, but Leicester have moved quickly to agree a £5 million deal with Napoli for the midfielder.
Inler will help fill the void left by Esteban Cambiasso's departure to Olympiakos earlier this summer and he will bring valuable experience to Ranieri's side having played in the Champions League and captained Switzerland at last summer's World Cup in Brazil.
Inler is expected to sign a three-year deal at Leicester once he finalises his medical at the King Power Stadium and will become the club's sixth signing of the summer.
