Filipe Luis is set to return to Atletico Madrid after one season with Chelsea, according to multiple reports that say the two clubs have agreed a deal for the Brazilian left-back.
Chelsea will receive about £11.1 million (€16 million) to give Filipe Luis back to the club where he played from 2010-2014, according to Marca, although Sky Sports placed the transfer fee at £15 million (€21.5 million).
The 29-year-old left the Rojiblancos from Stamford Bridge in a £15.8 million transfer just 12 months ago. The Brazilian had two years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Luis made 26 appearances for Chelsea in his lone season in London, making only nine starts in the Premier League as Jose Mourinho preferred Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back.
He scored his only goal in the League Cup against Derby County in December.
