Alexandre Lacazette has confirmed that he is staying at Lyon next season despite reported interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
Lacazette, 24, has alerted a number of top European clubs after finishing as Ligue 1's top scorer last season with 27 goals to help OL secure second place, although Lyon coach Hubert Fournier values the striker at "€50-60 million."
But despite rumours linking him with a big-money move this summer, the forward is determined to enjoy another prolific season with Lyon as the club prepare for the Champions League group stage.
After Lacazette scored the winner in a 2-1 preseason friendly win over AC Milan on Saturday, beIN SPORTS reports him as saying: "What people say doesn't mean much. I can still work well.
"I can show everyone that my mind is not in another place. I have already told the head coach and the president that I want to stay in Lyon.
"I am fully committed to our project for this season. Whatever happens outside stays outside. Personally, I know what I want for this season.
"I was happy with the way our fans reacted during the game. I received a lot of messages that were, you could say, "mean" on Twitter.
"That's life, that's football. I want to thank everybody that believes in me and supports me. Thank you to the public tonight.
"The best answer will be to have a great season and to prove to everyone that money is not what I am looking for. That's football."
Lyon coach Fournier said earlier this week that Liverpool would have to spend the majority of £49m they received for Raheem Sterling if they hoped to sign Lacazette, although the Anfield side have since activated the £32.5m release clause of Aston Villa's Christian Benteke.
Despite Lacazette signing a contract extension through to 2018 early last season, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas recently announced that the club were prepared to double his wages to €4m a year to entice him to stay.
