Manchester City have finally secured the future of young defender Jason Denayer on a five-year deal.
Denayer, 20, who is set to be part of Manuel Pellegrini's squad next season and will fly out on the club's tour of Australia, only had one year left on previous contract and there were fears he would not put pen to paper.
The centre-back already has three full caps for Belgium despite never having played for City, after spending last season on loan at Scottish Premiership champions Celtic -- where he was named the Young Player of the Year north of the border.

Denayer is set to take over from his fellow Belgian Dedryck Boyata as City's fourth-choice centre-half after his fellow Belgian coincidentally moved to Celtic in a permanent deal.
Belgium boss Marc Wilmots, who gave Denayer his international bow against Israel in March, said: "Jason is always calm. I've never seen him nervous; he has a lot of confidence.
"He has enormous potential and if he continues to evolve at the rate he is progressing, he can be world class."
