Manchester United's Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Borussia Dortmund's Ciro Immobile are candidates to replace Carlos Bacca at Sevilla, coach Unai Emery has confirmed.
Chicharito, 27, spent last season on loan at Real Madrid after being surplus to Louis van Gaal's plans at Old Trafford, and his future is unclear following a broken collarbone which will rule him out of Mexico's Gold Cup campaign.
Dortmund confirmed on Tuesday that Europa League holders Sevilla are keen on Italy international Immobile, and the Spanish club's coach Emery says both strikers are under consideration following the sale of Bacca to AC Milan.
"Now we have to find another Bacca, with a different name but with similar characteristics to those who his predecessors when they arrived at Sevilla," Emery told Corriere dello Sport.
"It's not easy, but there are opportunities: there is Chicharito, Immobile and other players that we are evaluating. [Juventus forward Fernando] Llorente? He's a top player just like the others I've named, but it's not easy to get to them.
"What's important is the desire, not the age. But we don't want players who could cost too much."
Any move for Chicharito could be complicated by a fractured collarbone suffered in a friendly versus Honduras last week. The injury is expected to keep the United forward out for another three weeks.
Chicharito, who signed for United from Guadalajara in 2010, scored seven goals in 23 La Liga appearances for Real last season, while Old Trafford teammate Juan Mata hopes that the striker will remain at the club next season.
Sevilla are preparing for the Champions League group stages after qualifying by winning last season's Europa League. Emery's side have won the Europa League for the past two seasons.
