#INSERT type:video END# Mauricio Pochettino has denied speculation that Hugo Lloris is considering his future at White Hart Lane, telling a news conference: "He is happy here and wants to reach the Champions League with Tottenham." France goalkeeper Lloris, 28, joined Spurs from Lyon in 2012 but has yet to play in the Champions League with the English club. The Guardian reported this week that, with Spurs set to miss out on the top four once more, Lloris will consider his future this summer despite committing to a new five-year deal in July. However, Pochettino told a news conference on Thursday: "There is no change, nothing from four, five or six months ago when we spoke about the rumour [before]. "Hugo wants to play the Champions League here for Tottenham and these are rumours. Nothing is true. Nothing has changed the situation. He is happy here and wants to reach the Champions League with Tottenham -- that is his dream." Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier League table, seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, and are on course to qualify for the Europa League, even if Pochettino has reservations about the competition. "This season realistically it is very difficult to reach the top four," he added. "We need to try -- we have five games ahead -- but at the same time I don't want to lie. It is not easy to reach the top four, realistically." Meanwhile, Pochettino has said he is powerless to stop England's "hero" Harry Kane from playing in the European Under-21 Championship this summer. Kane, who scored on his England debut against Lithuania last month during an impressive season with Spurs, could feature in the Czech Republic instead of playing for Roy Hodgson's England senior team. Pochettino said: "We need to talk with the federation and take the best decision for Harry, but it is true he is like a hero for England. When you speak about Harry it's a good thing for all, all people smile. "It is easy to speak about Harry now but he is very quiet and calm and focused on scoring goals and helping the team, but nothing has changed and we need to understand it is Harry Kane's decision. "If he wants to go, if he believes it is the best thing for him then you cannot stop him." Kane's emergence has piled focus on young English players, but Pochettino urged caution over throwing numerous young talents into first-team football. "We need to be careful with that because it's not because Harry Kane, [Ryan] Mason and [Nabil] Bentaleb are good this season, now we need to put all academy players in the first team," he said. "[We need] to try and bring players through the academy but we need to analyse and be careful with the young players."
