Vicente Iborra signs five-year deal to stay at Sevilla

Midfielder Vicente Iborra has signed a new contract that will keep him at Sevilla until June 2020.

The 27-year-old has added two more years to his previous deal that was due to expire in 2018, after two strong seasons with the Andalusian outfit.

Iborra had been linked with Barcelona and West Ham in recent months but has committed his future with Sevilla.

A statement from the defending Europa League champions read: "Sevilla FC and Vicente Iborra have signed on Thursday a two-year contract extension, hence the player is tied to the club until June 30, 2020."

Spaniard Iborra joined Sevilla in the summer of 2013 from Levante and has won two Europa League titles with Unai Emery's side.
