Senegal have received a boost ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup with news of a new long-term partnership with sports apparel giants PUMA.

Russia 2018 will be the Lions of Teranga's second appearance at the global showpiece, with the new kit to be unveiled during the upcoming FIFA window in March.

"We are delighted to welcome Senegal back to the PUMA family again. They are a great team with many promising talents who stood out during the qualification for the World Cup," said PUMA CEO Bjørn Gulden.

"With PUMA's long history in African football and the characteristics of the Lions of Teranga with their style of play and joyfulness, it is a perfect fit to PUMA and our 'Forever Faster' positioning."

Senegal previously wore PUMA apparel between 2004 and 2016, with Le Coq Sportif on their jerseys when they stunned defending champions France in the opening game of the 2002 World Cup.
